Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both lawyers. When she was a kid, she went to at the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma was inspired to become an actor by the age of six. Over the course of several years, she attended the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. In the school, she was taught singing, dancing and acting. By the time she turned 10 years old, Emma took part in many Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Agents for casting found Emma via her Oxford theater teacher. After eight consistent auditions the producer David Heyman told Emma and other applicants Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been selected to play the three main characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Emma's first cinematic appearance was as a part of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the year 2001. The film broke records for opening-day sales and opening-weekend takings as well as being the most-grossing feature in 2001. Critics have praised both the film and the performance of the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her excellent performance. In the following days, Emma was shortlisted for five awards for her role in the film and was awarded her the Young Artist Award for Leading Actress of a Younger in a feature Film.
